Hi Everyone; This is my first post here ever. Could someone explain to me the difference between stage 1, stage2, and stage 3 on the new 2015 ZO6???? Iam very sorry if this is a dumb question. Thank You. Also does anyone have a firm date as to when we can get "pricing from the dealers"???

Don't consider this the final word...reports are the aero is being tweaked for more downforce.

• The standard Z06 features a front splitter, spats around the front wheel openings, a unique carbon-fiber hood with a larger vent, and the rear spoiler from the Corvette Stingray’s Z51 Performance Package
• An available carbon-fiber aero package - in either black or a visible carbon-fiber finish - adds a carbon fiber front splitter with aviation-style winglets, carbon fiber rocker panels, and a larger rear spoiler with a fixed wickerbill – a small, vertical tab at the edge of the spoiler that significantly increases downforce

The available Z07 package add larger winglets to the front splitter, along with an adjustable, see-through center section on the rear spoiler for track use. With this package, the Corvette Z06 delivers the most aerodynamic downforce of any production car that GM has tested

THANK YOU very much guys. I truly do appreciate it. Another follow up question is my dealer is the biggest dealer in Omaha. Not the country but Omaha. Iam #2 on his list for a ZO6. Do you think the constraints will be so challenging that I may not even get one. I think he sold about 8 or 9 Z51's and probably double that for the non-z51's. I know he sold a few verts too. So maybe 20 to 25 Vettes for 2014. Obviously I have asked him this question but all he can tell me is the fact that GM has not given out the "allocations" yet.

Do you know if he sold may ZR1's or Z06's in prior years? We don't know the allocation strategy but I suspect their sales of these previous models may have an impact.

We do not know the answer to your question Patriot77. We do have some useful, but at best peripheral info. We know that for the 2014 StingRay, GM initially limited sales to the top 900 Chevy dealers. We know of at least two of those 900 dealers that have been told you are not getting a single 2015 Z06. What we do not know is how many others in that 900 who have been told that info, and whether additional dealers will also be later told,"sorry, no '15 Z06's for you.

We do have a list of the top selling 86 dealers in the first quarter of this year:

http://www.stingrayforums.com/forum...ngray-sales-dealers-first-quarter-2014-a.html

Extrapolating from that list being on for 1/4 of the year, one should have sold about 60 StingRays this year to be in the top 86 dealers. Your dealer sold about 25 you estimate, so perhaps you dealer is number 240 (???) -- obviously just estimating here. Perhaps GM might limit Z06 sales to the top 500 dealers??? This too is just conjecture, for we do not have enough info to answer your question, other than to note that the greater amount of new Corvettes sales (whether that is solely based on 2014 StingRays as I believe, or partially or wholly based on C6 Z06 and ZR1 sales as "mjw930" believes, no one outside of GM knows). And, would not bet against mjw930, for he has a great track record on predicting the future.

Just too many unknowns at this time to give you a reasoned/logical "prediction", as frustrating as that is to all of us.

John; THANK YOU very much for this info. My dealer is not in the top 87. I was kinda fearful of that. I will just "hang in there" until more info becomes available. I called him this morning and he said he should have pricing and allocations by sometime in August. He felt very comfortable that he would get atleast 2 ZO6's. And since Iam #2 on his list he felt comfortable in telling me that I would get one. Obviously the price is still a "factor". Thank You again. You guys are really great. Worst case scenario is with all these tons of aftermarket products you could take a C7 Z51 and make it look like a ZO6. I guess we could call that a "poor mans ZO6".
