The dealer I've ordered my 18x9 and 19x10.5 Nurbergrings for my C7 said I should use wheel straps to install my original TPMS sensors. The straps apparently go around the wheel and hold the TPMS sensor in place.

How have you had your TPMS's installed with the Nurbs; straps or just in the normal place on the wheel? Documentation I've read says the TSW are OEM TPMS compatible. Has anyone had issues with either of these TPMS mounting options.

Thanks a lot.

GM used straps for the sensors for the C4 Corvette and many wished they had not as with lots of road surface issues the sensor would break off along with the strap and that then tore up the inside of the tire to worse case blew the tire out causing car to crash like when racing
Could make it harder to relearn sensors if a signal tool is needed as the stem is used to Xmit signals

Also the wheel balance would have to be different
Find a modern rim that allows correct sensor install
