Just picked up my first new car 2014 stingray 1LT z51 performace exhaust comp seats with black wheels on black paint (triple black aka murdered out).

Please see the first two pictures showing the right rear splash guard with three 7mm screws in the bottom. The last two pictures show empty holes three missing 7mm screws and top gap of splash guard outside of 3mm. Now I wonder what happened to my car prior to me accepting delivery as I asked them not to wash it and noticed some wash marks on the rear bumper. I am going to ask my salesperson (confront him on the issue) as I should have a right to know if it was damaged during delivery and not fixed properly...............NOTICED THE GIANT GAP WHERE THE SCREWS ARE MISSING WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF <trying not to rage out>

Drive it back to the dealer (it did not fly off so far and probably won't on the way back) and politely ask the service manager to look with you at the issue. My guess is that a nonconfrontive style will get the problem resolved to your satisfaction.

here is the salesguy's response, "Your car was not washed or touched. It goes through a prep process, but all the screws are installed at delivery. Call me on Monday we can set up a time for you to bring it in so we can get that handled for you asap."

He is just a salesguy. I will be polite and professional as always. May not be able to bring it to him for another week as it is not convenient for me with my current schedule.

Seeing three bolts where there was none. Looks as if when they installed your splash guards, that the technician messed up and didn't replace there pre-existing bolts. Was there anything else done in resolving this please?
