Since there really any options out for this yet, I used a carbon flash vinyl Stingray script piece that Sean from VetteFX had sent me, so I could see what the script would look like on my Vette. I'm not sure I got it exactly centered or completely straight for that matter, but besides that, I'd appreciate any and all feedback.

It will look just like the stock badge, but in carbon flash, I just took off the corvette from them.
That will look great. My "issue" is that dirt is so easily seen in the hard to get spaces in the raised script on light color paint. Still considering it though...

I think no script whatsoever looks best....just removed mine...if flag was not indented would remove it too...however, I'm happy with black carbon flash replacement...

How hard was it to remove? I'm fine with the flag but dislike the raised letters.

where did you get the carbon flash flags? That looks great!
Got them from West Coast Corvettes. They are less than $60 each.

Not hard at all. Check the link Glen posted. Took me about 15 minutes or so to remove the script.

get $30 bucks of carbon flash and clear coat aerosol cans at automotivetouchup.com and you can paint everything in carbon flash....with one can of each I painted:
both flags
the entire console
both door bezels
steering wheel bezel
lisc plate frame

pics below in my build thread..

Off topic but what spoiler is that?

I like no script
It's GM's wing spoiler. Can be ordered from your Chevy dealer or most aftermarket Corvette vendors.

I love that spoiler but it doesn't work with Z51 cars, I guess it bolts on differently. It looks great on your car.
Thanks! If you have the Z51 spoiler, the only way to go to the wing is to either have the holes filled or replaced the upper portion of the rear fascia because the Z51 spoiler requires so many attachment points along the upper deck.

I like it 11teen million times better than the Corvette script in chrome, which I can't stand. What was GM thinking? It is the worst cosmetic appointment on the entire car besides the occasional bird poop. IMHO, it should have said "STINGRAY" but I'm usually capable of telling the difference between my cars without using labels.

J, I think the StingRay script on the back of your VY car looks fantastic! What a great idea to put it there. I love it!
