Just an FYI on the clean side separator from RX. I ordered mine back in July, didn't receive it until August 13, after a prodding call to the manufacturer. Upon arrival, I thought all was good until a week later when my wife noticed that the top of the separator was hitting the hood. I pulled it apart and noticed that there were gouges in the machining where the o-rings seat. I cleaned them up with some fine emery paper but it did not cure the issue, it still was hitting my hood. I called the manufacturer again and told them about the issue, which did not seem to surprise them. They said they would have production make a lower one and would get it right out to me. 3 weeks later....I just called again and was assured that one would be shipped tomorrow.

Long story short, if you have a Rx clean side separator, you might want to double check your hood and make sure it is not hitting. They seem to be honestly good people and are trying to remedy the issue. I'm just frustrated that I've had to go thru all the calling to get it right, and now I have a blemished hood.

PoconoG wow, so sorry to hear about this. How bad is the blemish to the hood? Pics? I have read most of the posts on the clean side separator and plan to get one for my future C7. I imagine you purchased this to help protect your dream car and then it caused some damage leaving you feeling very disappointed.

Tracy, I'm reading good things about your customer service. Keep up the great work.
