Only a guess at this time, but the three most probable upcoming places are:

1) Sebring United Tudor Sports Car Race: March 13-15th ("mjw930" is going and will know a lot more about the event )

IMSA | TUDOR United SportsCar Championship | Upcoming Events

2)New York Auto Show, with public dates of:April 18-27th

New York International Auto Show

3) National Corvette Museum "Bash" Event: April 24-26th

Bash info

There are only two Z06's that are not testing mules ("IVERS") at this time (that we know about); one is VY, the other TSG (or SG if you prefer). GM has not even publicly committed to having a Z06 at the first two events, but based on last year's showing of the StingRay, there were at both of them, and I believe a 99% chance they will bring the Z06 to those two. GM has committed to bringing a Z06 and 2015 StingRays to the Bash.

There is a good chance that there is a fourth location, the Geneva Auto Show starting on March 6th. What we do not know is which Z06 will go to which of those locations. Highly probable that either a TSG Z06 or a TSG StingRay will be at the NCM Bash, for that is where GM displays the new model year Corvettes to the Corvette faithful, and, previously, when GM introduced a new model year color(s) they usually brought a car in that color to the Bash.

The folks in Toronto did not know whether they were getting the TSG or the VY one, and neither did those at the Chicago Auto Show.

The added advantage of going to the NCM Bash is that key StingRay & Z06 staff will be there, doing walkarounds, making presentations, conducting seminars, etc. Note that on the Bash agenda, that Tadge Juechter, Harlan Charles, Kirk, Ryan Vaughan, Jim Mero, Luke Sewell, Bill Nichols and other key members of the Corvette development team will be participating in the events -- as are the Corvette C7.R's Doug Fehan, Dan Binks and driver Tommy Milner. Hence, why I will be going to the Bash.

I'm not going to be able to make Geneva...my private jet has scheduled maintenance that week. :D

I really would like to see the TSG Z06 in person...or at least a TSG Stingray. And...talk to GM folks really well versed in the Z06. All before orders for Z06 cars are placed.

Living in upstate New York, Corvettes of Carlisle is the closest venue for me. How well will that event suit my needs compared to the Bash?

Not sure if I'm going to Sebring or not. I haven't been in years but with the unified series I may just go this year. Who knows....

I will be going to Corvettes of Carlisle to see it for the first time. I think both events will give you plenty of access to the GM folks to get any questions answered.
The difference I believe is GM will be a lot further along at Corvettes of Carlisle on the final design of the Z06 since it's the end of Aug and only a couple of months before orders might finally be taken. Also a good chance to see some different colors and hopefully one or both of the new interior colors. Corvettes of Carlisle is a major event for GM so there will be plenty of GM folks there to talk with.

Agree that Corvettes of Carlisle is an excellent choice! It is August 22-24th. While we all believe that the Z06 order window will not open until about/after then, need to stay on top of that issue, for if we are wrong and the order window opens earlier than that, seeing a Z06 there will be breathtaking, but might not help in color selection.

The Z06 will also be appearing at next month's Barrett-Jackson Auction @ Palm Beach, FL (11-13th). Believe it will be the TSG one (the one running model) -- unless they will be making more show cars during the BGAP, closed to the public, March 10-21 time.

For those not going to that auction, going to be TV, so we can all see it that way too. TV schedule/channels here:

Any idea which lot the car will be in? I might have to bring a TV into the office on April 11. ( actually I will need to DVR that day as I will be flying back from Europe. )

Sorry, no. Usually they auction prime cars like that at TV special times, usually on Saturday, such as 6:00 PM (EST). They will probably on Friday announce specifics, and hopefully someone could post that info up here once known.
