Shudder on acceleration

Need some help diagnosing a problem that started today. Have a 2014 z51 M7. Only mod is that I installed a Soler throttle controller. When traveling in gears 2 through 7 at around 1500 rpm’s, I will accelerate slightly and I feel a shudder. Kind of like going over rumble strips. I changed the transmission fluid a couple months ago with the correct fluid. Could this be bad gas? 42k miles. Always in sport mode so AFM does not activate.

Since you have a manual, AFM is only active in Eco Mode. From the Owner's Manual:
Active Fuel Management
This system allows the engine to
operate on either all or half of its
cylinders, depending on the driving
conditions. With a manual
transmission, the system is only
active in Eco mode.
With an
automatic transmission, the system
is available in all modes, but is more
aggressive in Eco mode.

That’s not true. It’s an M7. AFM only activates in Eco mode as 4mula1 stated.
Zymurgy, Where do you get your misinformation from? And you should not be spreading it!! AFM ABSOLUTELY activates on manual transmissions. 2017 C7 Z06 M7, and I have it, but, (another misinformation on your part) it only activates in Economy mode with manual transmissions.
That's exactly what I said in post #2. Read it.

I can't imagine anyone driving an M7 in Eco Mode. All other modes for the M7 deactivate AFM.

Yes, and post #3 is my response to that. He was simply stating that since he is always in Sport Mode, AFM is not his issue. Meaning that he knows the M7 only has AFM in Eco mode. And in post #5 you also said AFM is only for Automatic and not Manuals.
