Easiest way is to ask your dealer.

ask your dealer - the MOMENT they input your order, they can print this: ask for it - ask the sales manager -until it says 2000 in the red circle, you really have nothing, a car is not being built for you. Notice how my name is on it, not the dealer name:

I asked my dealer about the 'Order Workbench,' and they had no idea what I was talking about.
The WorkBench program is the only way a dealer can order a new car, so every dealer, without exception has someone (often two or more) people trained to enter new orders into the WorkBench program.

Suggest you re-contact your dealer, ask that person, politely, to try again, see his/her Sales Manager, or better yet go with your salesperson and see the Sales Manager together, and ask your question again. Every dealership has, 24/7, access to that system and could print you that document regarding your order status while you are there.

The best dealerships reach out and actively share status info with their customers without every customer asking for it.

If you still get stonewalled after following John's suggestion in post #5 i would seriously consider switching your order to a different dealer there or one of our dealer sponsors StingrayForums.com Supporting Dealerships

Mobius,

WOW, thanks for that link: It shows a "picture" of my car, exterior and interior, and shows my car as already produced, not yet shipped. Haven't heard from the dealer, although he had been keeping me pretty well informed. As stated in other words in this thread, my salesman--great guy--is not familiar with the "workbench" but he took me to the guy who actually does the ordering and did my order, and his job keeps him on the workbench throughout his work day, so he is pretty much aware of status on all of the dealership's vettes currently on order.

It would be nice to pick it up, (museum delivery) before it snows in Kentucky.
If you want a museum delivery and you are still at 1100, get your money back and go with Mac Mulkin.

Status update: Air Bag Senor Module Recall...

My dealer informed me today that my Vette is one of the relatively few involved in the Airbag Sensor Module recall, and it won't be scheduled for delivery until a fix is in place. The estimate is "2 or 3 weeks" just to work out what the fix will be.

Man, this makes the waiting even HARDER, but of course I want it "fixed" before it gets to the dealer.

Picked mine up yesterday, at my dealer, Lou Sohb's Milton (FL) Chevrolet. Arrived on a truck approx. eight o'clock AM, and I drove off at approximately 2:30 PM. Really looks great.
