Can anyone tell me what is the holdup with the stupid service manuals? Originally they were scheduled for February, then postponed til June, & now helms just says they haven't been released from the mfg.! The model year is almost over & not a single instance of service publication is available not matter what the cost is. Maybe there is but I can't find it.

Has GM always been this slow to release? Is this part of the GM mentality of self entitlement or just plain lazy or what?

Yeah Wormwood, I've never owned a car & didn't get one of these. I'm sure it won't be cheap but that really doesn't matter so much, having the manuals does.

Had to wait 10 months until after I got my C6 Z06 before it was printed/available (and it was $135 in 2006 ).

There ought to be a law against selling a car without being able to obtain (even if you have to pay) the service manuals at the time the car is sold by the manufacturer.

When I bought my '99 Corvette the manuals were over three hundred dollars. I still have my manuals for my '74.
