Today, I sadly report that my Blade Silver 2014 Corvette Stingray was stolen out of my garage on 10/10/2023 at 2:30am. At least that's what the security video shows.

The thieves broke the driver side window and used some sort of device to override the security features. We didnt hear a thing.

I called OnStar to locate the car. They said they couldn't help because all the towers have been upgraded to 5G and my car has an older system.

Truly bummed out...:(

Sorry to hear this man!! Stinks there is no backward compatibility in 5G tech!!

This worked for me, for real...
My GMC truck was stolen from my driveway and I was really hot—I felt invaded and violated. Then after a few days, I settled down. But still no word on the truck. SO I thought well, they must have really needed a good work truck. SOOOO, I prayed for their salvation, as well as for his/their whole family, in an intense, I-really-mean-it-prayer, binding the enemy from them and just basically fighting back the only way I could. A week later, my truck was returned. It needed about $1k work but it is back. So, if you're of the same bent, try that since today's tech sure can't seem to help you!!

A real WWJD moment!!

I've done a lot of research since the car was located. It's getting repaired, and a complete interior, exterior, and engine bay detail.

Per YouTube, a lot of the steering wheel locks can be disabled within 5 to 45 seconds using a portable power drill, crowbar, etc. Also, kill switches were disabled and by-passed in as little as 2 minutes. High-end cars are merely put on a flat bed tow truck and wheeled away. These guys are pros. And there are way too many videos showing how to steel cars on YouTube.

My solution is the Vechkom steering wheel lock with 130bd alarm, carrying good insurance, and calling 911. The alarm is obnoxiously loud and a good deterent. Enough to wake me, the neighbors, and the next block over. A good secondary alarm to the horn. The police located my car in 3 days, so immediately get them involved.

If these guys really want a car, they will get it. Never try to stop these thiefs on your own. My surveillance video shows my car thieves were carrying a gun.

God bless and stay safe.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Greatly appreciated.

Repair update: Good news. We found a new differential. However, while replacing it, the tech discovered the right axle was damaged. The new axle is on order.

The car thieves must have had a lot of fun...

Hi guys. It's been quite a journey. Today, December 7th, I picked up my car from Stevens Creek Chevrolet. As a recap, the car was stolen on October 10th and recovered on October 13th. Repairs include new driver's side window/regulator, new fuses, new rear deck carpet, new differential, new passenger side rear axle, and a complete detail including engine bay. Drive, looks, and sounds like a new car. Thumbs up to law enforcement, Geico Insurance, and Stevens Creek Chevrolet in San Jose, CA. Happy Holidays!
