A nearby casino was hosting a car show yesterday with two Corvette classes: 1953-1982 and 1984-2015. I took all three of my Stingrays and wound up with three awards! My 2014 Stingray took first in its class and my 1964 Sting Ray and 1973 Stingray took first and second in their class. Cash prizes were given with each place as well as an awesome chair with each first place cash award. I wound up leaving with over $300 in cash and prizes! Not a bad day...Stingrays rule! :D

Congratulations!

Are you upset with yourself for knocking yourself out of first place and down to second?

Wait...

LOL!

Never been to a car show with cash prizes.... New one to me.

StingRays rule!
That's become the "in" thing in SW Oklahoma. This one advertised, "Over $3000 in Cash and Prizes."

Jeremy, I can't help but ask: which car did you drive, and which car did your Dad drive?

Well, I drove the 2014 because it's so low and I don't want anyone breaking another ACS splitter! LOL Dad drove the '64 and said it was a blast to drive. He was 20 when the '64 was built and it was awesome watching him drive it. It's a lot a fun to drive!

Jeremy, congrats it looks like you had a strong showing. Overall were there a lot of Vettes in the show? I've done a few car shows with my 1970 Camaro and that darn asphalt gets hot, did you have any shade or was it a cool day? Have fun and keep on showing your masterpieces!!!

Hi Rick! Thanks! It wasn't a huge show, but there was some really good Corvette competition. It was actually a pretty hot day, so I spent about half of my time in the hotel/casino. :)
