This system was installed by JML Audio in St. Louis
Took 4 days and the workmanship IMO is flawless. I posted these pics over on the accessory thread but figured it was good here.

The ALP and STiR are separate systems , not the integrated STiR that you can link to the ALP ( my choice) I run the ALP through an I phone app the phone is dedicated to ALP operation , again my choice.
I figured since I made a deal with my wife that after 3 speeding tickets I would sell the C7 that I would get the best protection I could ......time will tell.

Amazing install!! I'm very impressed and it's difficult to find people who work that well.
looked at several shops , friend recommended JML after I saw their work , no question JML was it. Now I'm saving my money up for what they are known for, Audio . their work is impeccable IMO.

So far 2 laser saves with the ALP one from the front and one rear and it shows what type gun the shot came from and those C7 brakes are superb for a quick drop to the PSL with a JTK technique works great..I'm completely satisfied with the ALP and it's support team.

Is the receiver behind the front clip and not in the grille. Hows the strength of the detection warning? I'm looking to do this on my new Z06....

The receiver is behind the front cap so far no performance issues. the fact it is "behind" the front clip and not in the open it gets a reduced signal in theory , but it hasn't been a noticeable decrease as far as I can tell . I went with the STiR after a escort Max on the mirror and I can tell no difference between performance and I get ample warning when it alerts to Ka. I do use band segmentation which cuts down on the false alerts.

I have K40 installed on three of my cars. The longest installation time was a day for my Maserati. Drop car off at 8 am picked next day at 8am. Taking four days was too long.

Too Long? You base this on a K40 install? Apples to organges.
1 day , 4 days, the only metric for this comparison is owner satisfaction. Glad your satisfied , so am I.
