And so it begins, first stone chip. I go out of my way to keep my distance from trucks and what not and sure enough was cleaning my car and came across a rock chip. I guess it's inevitable without some sort of protection. To say the least I'm bummed lol some may think I'm silly but now it's driving me nuts. Anyone have experience with touch ups and how to do the best job? Tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything. Any help is appreciated. Thanks all! And as "jsvette" suggested on another post, try the method on a daily driver and practice until you are happy with the results.

It's always that first one to that hurts the most! I totally feel your pain. The first brand new car I bought didn't last a week before I had my first rock chip. It's been going on ever since! Additionally, I am not a huge fan of the protective tape either since bugs get imbedded in it and they never really clean up. I guess it's inevitable.
