Hi everyone,

I was curious if anyone in the SE Michigan area had any good tips on some winter storage areas. I usually throw a heater in the garage but I want to clear some space out to work on a project. I looked at generic temperate controlled storage but its like $169 a month, there HAS to be something better out there.

Does anyone have any tips on storage in the SE Michigan area? I live in Royal Oak if that helps narrow it down.

Years ago, one of my neighbors always had a empty space and kindly accepted my monthly donation to store one of my cars. The person wouldn't charge but I gave him $75 or $100 month and it worked out fine but that depends on if you know your neighbors and more importantly they have an extra unused space.

Also, there is a place called Under Cover Storage in Plymouth, Michigan where people storage their belongings, boats and classic cars. There are heated units as well..

Hi Eric,
There is a place on Woodward in Pontiac across from M1. It used to be a Cadillac dealer many years ago. I don't know what he charges or if he has any spaces left.
There's a phone number on the window you can call. You really don't need heated space, just a power outlet for a battery tender. Good luck.

Wonder if that is the place called "My Toy Garage" Pontiac, Michigan - I went to their site and looked at their Youtube and their cost is $150 Month

"Woodward Warehouse & Dream Msm" in Royal Oak, Michigan is quite expensive though
