Picture? There are several settings for the instrument cluster, so it's hard to visualize what you are referring to.

 

Center very bottom of cluster. It is illuminated.

 

Could it be that you are in Sport Mode? Does changing the mode change what you see there? A picture would really help to understand.

 

Winner, winner! The bottom center has an indication of the mode you are in.

 

The "S" symbol stands for "Sport" mode, which adjusts the car's performance for a sportier driving experience.

 

It stands for sport. The "T" stands for track. I think on the LT1 Z51 it's set to sport. When you start the car the suspension via Traction goes to "S". I don't think you can get the other two settings and Track is not available either on the LT1 . Someone please correct me, if I am wrong.

 

I'm guessing you mean on the 1LT (trim level) versus LT1 (an engine designation). All C7 Stingrays have the LT1 engine (the Z06 has the LT4 and the ZR1 has the LT5). All C7 Stingrays have 5 drive modes available (regardless of trim level). Weather, Eco, Tour, Sport and Track. What each drive mode will do depends on what options the car has. For example, the modes can't change the suspension if your car doesn't have MSRC (Magnetic Selective Ride Control). Likewise, without NPP, the modes can't change the exhaust loudness.

This changed slightly over the years, so check your Owner's Manual.
