Are the taillights LEDs not bulbs? Simple question, but I've not found an answer. I think you have to remove the rear facia to get to them, true?.

I read somewhere they are LEDs, but I don't know for sure.

They are LEDs. When you look at a video, the bulbs flutter and flicker. Regular incandescent bulbs don't do this.

Oh, that is right: the taillights do appear to flicker in videos. The "flickering" is due to the pulse width modulation on the power feeding the LEDs having different frequencies than the video's frames per second acquisition rate.

They are definitely LEDs. Good call!

Same reason the stage coach wheels looked like they were turning backwards in the old John Wayne movies. The new issues sounds much cooler.
