Ant techies know if the new C7 has texting capabilities? If so how would you set this up? So far I've come up empty

It does as long as you have an iPhone, they link to Siri which allows for reading and composing texts with speech. Just the opposite of other systems like the Chrysler Uconnect which supports voice texting with non-apple devices. This is mostly because Apple didn't extend voice to text to their Bluetooth stack outside of Siri. Since the voice to text and text to voice features on an Android are bound to the Bluetooth stack it's possible it will support that too.
