I read it's a C7 logo boxed case with an authentic leather Stingray sleeve, a C7 collector's edition book, and a nice C7-watermarked "welcome & thank you" letter addressed to your first name and with your C7's full VIN number.
Some folks got their C7 late last year and just got this so maybe they are just sending them now?
So is this something that GM just started to mail out to buyers that ordered the car through a dealer and waited for TPW, production, delivery and then after several months of agonizing wait finally got their car?
Ordered mine in July....got her in October...just got "gift"
Box is nice...Well made..embossed with c7 wings..
Form letter addressed to me by name..and VIN....
Really nice leather sleeve described as useful for mini-tablet I don't own
(would have really nice if t hey included one )
And an Ad agency promo booklet telling me how wonderful the new Vette is,
Which I already know...
Letter did advise of Ron fellows driving school discount,
But that has already been posted...
I'm sure if you bought one, you'll get this eventually....
Last time I ever got a gift for ordering a car was when I bought a Saturn! To my surprise, I came home one day to find a cookie tin that was designed to look like a road wheel/tire full of Jimmy's chocolate chip cookies and a thank you letter. I never forgot that. I believe the dealership did it, not GM.
