So on my C6, there was a plastic piece on the edge of the door where you place your fingers to press the pad and open it.Two fingers and a thumb did the trick without leaving a thumb print on the outside. No such piece on the C7. Does anyone else miss it, and is there an after market piece? Thanks.

Although this does not directly identify what you are looking for, would some Xpel Ultimate in that area work for you?

Just use your two fingers and pull, if you want a piece of plastic on the outside , cut a piece of xpel and put it on. Amazon sells small rolls of xpel for door sills, i have done the inside of the cup on mine.

I did this as well Glen, I put a piece in the cup and a flat piece about 2x2 on the outside. Worked great. I figured that over time the paint might dull or something from pushing the door shut.

Check with West Coast Corvettes for the kit.
