36 years ago today I started selling Corvettes...any Anniversary of that length especially since it involves the new Corvette Stingray which has been such a huge success for Chevrolet and Corvettes 7th Generation is something to look back on fondly. To think that I started during the middle of the 3rd Generation either states that I have tons of Corvette experience or that I am a Dinosaur. Any way you look at it... it's a long time to work at something you love. 3,200+ Corvettes sold later I am still going along and will turn 54 in a few months. Over the many years I have assisted many Corvette ethusiasts whether they purchased from me or not. The experience I try to provide is what is most important to me...does every one understand that? No and that's ok. I also have owned 14 Corvette's myself over the yrs and that allows me insight to provide first hand knowledge along with my contacts to assist when I am seeking an answer. I wouldn't trade my time selling Corvettes for any other job
“Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't
own it, but you can use it. You can't keep
it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it
you can never get it back.”
Quote from Harvey MacKay

Thanks for listening.

Congratulations Mike, and this is why....... You've built a sterling reputation in the business and allot of confidence by many. I've always somehow, I'm not sure why or how, had an uncanny ability to spot those with the highest level of "Honesty, Integrity and Character," which are my greatest and most appreciated values today. Keep up the great work Mike, your truly an asset to your profession.

"Today marks 36 yrs for me selling Corvettes: Have Enjoyed every moment* "

Congrats Mike! I must confess that I expected to see that this thread was going to expand on which moment "*" you didn't enjoy, but maybe that's a story for another day. Even though we might not ever meet in person I get the impression that your "good people" and have read hundreds of posts across all of the Corvette websites of you going well beyond the call of duty for us vette folks. Good on you mate...And thanks!

No reason to dwell on the bad when there are thousands of good stories. I will try to share them from time to time now that I am a vendor on the Stingrayforums web site...like the time(1986) we delivered 10 new Corvettes to Eddie Murphy and the next week Joe Piscopo came in and bought 5. During their Saturday Night Live show days...and when they had the first entourage of any kind.

Your background makes you unique in the car business. I have hoped someday I could buy a vette from someone like you who knows more about the car and its history than me. cutnout aka Charlie

Thanks a ton guys. I truly love my job. The beginning of the4th,5th and 6th Generations were iconic in their own right...but the 7th Generation is just over the top...I have never had so many Ferrari, Porsche etc buyers in the market place and raving about the Stingrays value. The true Corvette enthusiast has always appreciated every nip and tuck of a vette...the 7th Generation is no different.

Mike, 36 years "Outstanding" and it reads like you've had a blast every single year. You're the type of person we all seek when purchasing any vehicle, dedicated to your buyers and your profession. I bet you have several good stories to tell, the good, the bad, and the funny.
