i stopped by the worlds largest corvette dealer today, to take a look at their stock of 2015 stingrays. they had 30+ on the floor (no Z06s). interestingly, and comparing the industry problem with meeting production for 2014 models, this dealer had rows and rows of colors, styles, features. its a great way to look at the car first hand, and see what they really look like. Note: they had two of the new orange ones in stock--not all that bad a color. for anyone within driving distance, id recommend this as the optimal way to shop for this car. i walked around for about 20 minutes, and was not approached by a salesman, so i eventually left. i could probably have found one if i looked harder, but i was happy just to look around at the selection. btw, i have the 2014 CG--which i definitely prefer compared to their new silver/grey color (i think they call it shark grey). you can also see their web site, but its not the same as seeing it first hand (note: this is not an advertisement). observation: gm could really use some better, higher end wheel selections--imo.
Note also that they are discounting most all their in stock cars by $5-6,000 off of msrp. the times do change. it will be interesting to see the sales stats for the 2015 SR, vs. the '14.
