Hello all,
I have noticed a lot of advertising and testimonials for Topcoat F11. Anyone tried it? Going to the bash this year and thinking a coating of this may help with cleaning once we arrive. Amy thoughts?

Dave, I've never heard of the product, where did you find it?

First I've heard of it as well.

I tend to lean towards established products, like the BlackFire line of products and the Adams polishes. There are plenty of testimonials on those, and many forum members who use 'em.

Topcoat claims to be a water based, no silicone product. Here's some links

They claim it protects paint, glass, leather, almost everything.

It looks good, but you know, looks can be deceiving.

Almost anything looks good immediately after application. A friend used to be the business manager at a motorcycle dealer. They would "polish" the floor displays with Pledge. Looked fantastic under the showroom lights. Lasted about 30 seconds the first time it got rained on.

The real question is how long does it last, and how well does it protect.

Yes and for the price at $50.00 ea. bottle you can do alot better all it really is is a spray on wax or instant detailer
like Mothers ect. Plus I was not satisfied with it and have been trying to contact the company
to get it returned with no response from them. I am now letting Pay Pal handle the return and
even they say they are getting no response from them so don't waste your money!

My brother in NY told me about it a few weeks ago as he learned about it from the Harley Davidson community. He sent me videos of his girlfriend's car and his motorcycle. He said he hasn't had to wash them in 6 months. When they get dirty he just hoses them down and dries. He said nothing sticks to the surface anymore. He loves it. He sprays the windows too and doesn't even have to use wipers. He says it works way better than RainX.

So I ordered some and it should be finally here on Monday. I ordered it online on July 3rd and for over a week later never got tracking. I emailed them and it took 2 days for them to respond to me that due to the holiday the were behind and they would email me tracking when it would ship that due to the holiday they got behind but we're back on schedule. 2 days later I still didn't hear from them and I wrote them again as to what's up. No response for 3 days and then I got tracking. Very poor service! I do hear that it sells so fast that they sometimes run out or can't keep up with the orders. I will try to remember to come back hear and let all of you know the results. My car is now a year and a half old and felt to wax it when my brother said to use this instead.

You are better off just using Duragloss Aquawax 952. Buy it by the gallon for about $35. I applied the F11 on one side of the bonnet and Duragloss on the other. The Duragloss lasted longer, beaded longer, and shined longer. No contest.

I bought a bottle of F11 for my Harley. It worked pretty good. I live on a lake, so I purchased it because I thought it would be able to make the bugs easier to clean. Not sure if it worked as advertised, but the bugs did come off a bit easier. For the money, meh. I wouldn't buy it again. However, I haven't tried it on my car, so any further info would be nice to hear.
