I just finished chatting with customer service and was hoping they would tell me my car was already produced. I had seen a few posts that production was running ahead. No such luck. However, they did say that my car was in "the line" as we speak. Can't hardly stand it. I might as well take vacation for the next month because i will be pretty worthless at work.

"kaduddell" and "nsmiller0807", you both have unfortunately hit the time warp, when every day goes by s l o w l y, and every week feels like a month. Sorry guys, but it is only guaranteed to get worse from here. Sleep becomes a forgotten commodity, as "adrenaline excitement" becomes your constant companion.

I had a 6/16 TPW, and found out yesterday that it's showing as shipped!

Out of coincidence I was travelling north of Louisville, KY on I-71 and saw at least 4 car carriers loaded with stingrays!

Now waiting for it to be delivered to dealership!

I had a TPW of 6/16 and just got back from the NCM Buyers Tour. Ronin's frame+IP (Instrument Panel) came down onto the trim line ~ 11 am on Tuesday 6/17 (Dave Hastings and I waited about an hour for that as we got there at 10 am) and just finished 'being mated' (where the frame+trim comes down onto the engine/transmission/brakes piece) at 4:30 pm when the line stopped for the day. Wednesday morning the line started back up ~ 6:12 a.m. and he reached the end about 10:30 am (where I got to start him - technically it's the second start ;-) ) and he was through alignment \ DVT (Dynamic Variable Testing where they go through the gears up to 75 mph and test the ABS) \ and the three minute water penetration test by 10:50 or so (the LB vert ahead of me in the alignment bay started leaking something so that stopped the left hand line a bit waiting for alignments.)

The whole place was awash in (torch) red, white and (laguna) blue - only saw 3 Cyber Grays, 1 VY, 2 blacks, 3 LRG, 1 Blade Metallic Silver and a couple Tiger Shark Grays (that obviously are 2015s) the only crystal red I saw was the one picked up at the NCM yesterday. It's really something being among 100s of Stingrays, ;-).

I highly recommend the Buyers Tour. You basically follow your car the whole length of the three main lines (trim, chassis and final - takes about 10 hours total) and at the end of the 'final' line they bring you over and you get to start it (see pic above) - and they give you this signed 'birth certificate' ;-). Technically, it's already been started once about 20 minutes before just after fluid fill where they run the diagnostics panel (all your electronic stuff with engine on, like power windows up/down, locks, wipers, etc.) The guides are great - they will adjust to what works for you. For example, if you are not a morning person, or were not interested in seeing every single minute or wanted to sit down for a bit if you were tired or whatever. Me - I wanted to be on the line for every single bit. It was great talking to everyone - they love the cars too and kept thanking me for ordering one. When people were on breaks, we'd go over and sit in the break areas with them chatting and drinking the group coffee with sugar and powdered creamer, ;-). I'm normally a Starbucks snob - but it was a lot of fun just sitting with them, drinking the coffee and soaking up the vibe of the plant. Two days of being surrounded by 100s of C7s and they people that love them - priceless, ;-). You also typically get (shhhh... as you're not technically supposed to get) the actual build sheets that travelled down the line with them.

Next up is NCM Delivery - July 11. Can't wait! :)
