I just got quoted the $700 for a fluid flush. Too bad GM doesn't cover this as it seems to be a valid issue with the A8 transmission! The Torque Converter is covered, but not the fluid change that may solve the problem. Odd.

The fluid flush and replacement did, indeed, solve my issue. Hopefully, I won't need the torque converter replacement. Although, that IS covered under warranty.
