I am sure its me, being an old gray hair corvette lover. Since the day I brought my C7 home it was in touring mode. Thought that was good for me, as I just love driving it. Then 2 days ago I thought what are these other modes all about, and I put the car into Sport mode, and WOW what a difference. it jumps off the line, RPM's stay higher longer and it kicks butt. Now I am not a racer so maybe over selling this, but it was a completely different drive experience, like I unleashed another 100HP :) . I could not wait until I drove it to work today.. So if there is any other old guys with a C7 driving around in touring mode, try the Sport mode its a blast. Can't wait to try the track mode..

My car stays in Sport mode 99.8% of the time. :)

I followed a similar evolution. Started driving initially in Touring as I got a feel for the car, then experimented with Sport, now I exclusively use Track (unless on the highway, then I use ECO).

My normal recreational drives last around 3 hours, top-down and roaring across my favorite local roads - a nice cross-section of lightly trafficked twisties and smooth high speed roads. I take it easy for the first 1/2 hour while the transmission comes up to temp.

ARM is always on now, Traction Control is off more than on (and you can guess why - you can do amazing things with the ample torque and smooth clutch), but I always leave Stability Control on. I'll start experimenting with Competitive Driving Mode in the Spring.

Only time I've used track so far was on Kentucky State Speedway. Felt good. Real good man. I can't wait for Ron Fellows in Spring.

I just really like the "track mode" dash display with the in-your-face gears. I actually wish I could have Sport/Track use that display, and then Weather/Eco/Touring use the Sport display. Heh. The regular W/E/T display is, in my opinion, strictly inferior to the others. Lots of wasted space on silly icons and missing info such as MPH which force me to squint at the silly speedometer on the left.

I've always used sport since mile 1. Maybe I will turn it to track and see if I notice the difference
U will. Much more aggressive. Truth is in Sport of Track mode(even more so) U could easily lose control of this car coming outta the hole it has so much torque laying down. Interesting enough adding the Weapon X TB improved the response even more so.. Its scary. With my CTS-VCoupe, due to the weight, the take off is more controlled. The Stingray being 900lbs lighter is simply treacherous to the inexperienced driver of such cars.

Throttle response for one. Sport and Track modes are the modes that one get into if U really want to experience the C7 in terms of power/torque delivery. IN those modes.. unless U've change the setting in the DIC.. the steering and shifting are affected as well.

U can change the display to be whatever U wish no matter the mode. I have mine set to track 24/7 no matter which mode I'm in

Yeah, I used to use the Sport display at all times. Then I realized that if I'm in paddle-shift mode, I prefer the readout of the Track. But I'm never happy with the W/E/T display that seems to lose info such as mph just so it can display a cute icon on the left such as "(i)" for info. So I guess what I'm saying is, I'd like even more precise control of what driving mode gets what display ^_^

Still, it's nice to have any options at all. My Subaru is pretty bare bones in comparison, and I'll be driving that until Spring haha.
