Hello all... I think I am actually crazy enough to get one of these beasts.. It is pretty much the only car I have ever looked at that made me convince myself that I needed one.. Immediately..

Only problem is, where the heck do I find what I am looking for.. My primary goal is a Z51 - 1LT, manual, ideally white.. But it seems like (at least at the local levels) actually pinning one down in that price range and feature level is like capturing a Unicorn. You guys are hording them someplace, aren't ya?!

You guys are leaving behind the weird color ones! that are automatic!

Ah well.. I suppose one of the benefits of searching the US is that I can get a really good idea of the pricing model.. I can't find any free ones yet either.

welp, hope to eventually become a legit, card carrying member of the vette forum with you fellow crazy folk.

You can try to see if MacMulkin can get you one. Or, you can go to cars.com and filter your want list.

Yes you are correct, it will be a hard find.
I searched dealers for months before realizing that I would have to order a car to get what I want. My criteria seams to be a near match of what you are looking for.
I also wanted a Article White, 1LT, Z-51, like you I wanted a manual however that was my wife only issue with be getting a Vette. It had to be an automatic so she could also drive it.

I was looking for performance, if I had shoe boxes full of money in the closet I would have been happy with getting a 3LT however that is not the case. First of all I found very few Z-51 options on the dealers floors and those that I did find were all 3LT. It is a rare case to find a 1LT with the Z-51 package. I suggest that you bite the bullet and go place an order that way you get what you want with out paying for the extras that you don't need.
