This trip was in January but I have over 7300 miles on my C8 Z06 as of today and I'm over the moon happy with it, especially since I've run multiple 10.4 passes in it in the 1/4 mi, and hit a couple road courses as well to do some testing. I know there's car collectors out there and if that's your thing, that's your thing. Me personally, I've never been fond of the idea of keeping miles off a car for the sake of resale value. I decided to drive my C8 Z06 and NOT ship my C8Z from Texas to Cali. Why? In my Because it's a car, meant to be driven. I don't care what the price tag is on these, I don't care about the miles, I don't care about rock chips, and I don't care about the perceived value in someone else's eyes. I care about my experience with it because it's one thing you'll never be able to get back. Not using your car is like not sitting on your toilet at home to poop because you're saving the seat for the next guy. Buy it, & drive it. Here's my road trip and explanations of my thoughts on the car in a long trip scenario. I condensed 20 hrs of driving into 30 minutes of talking lol...
