Hello fellow Corvette enthusiast. I'm new to this site and want to introduce myself. Just purchased a 1,400 mile 2015 Z51-3LT coupe with a manual transmission. This my third Corvette. I still own my first, a 65 396/425 car that Ive had since 1976. Been a car guy my entire life. During the mid 70's I ran a front engine dragster on a shoe string budget but it was still fun. Today I'm retired living on the water near Tampa Fl with my wife of 16 years. Besides cars, I'm involved with power boating, wood working and flipping houses. I'm currently looking to join a Corvette club in the greater Tampa Bay Area. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time.

Welcome Bahaboy252! Hope all is well after the hurricane.
Bahaboy252, welcome aboard and congrats on your C7 masterpiece purchase. Front engine dragster, I'm sure that you've seen your fair share of blown engines that were close calls.

Hello to all... Just signed up. Looking forward to meeting some of the members and sharing corvette stuff. I purchased a 2015 Shark Grey LT1 vet last year, traded it last month for a 2014 LT3 Z51 in the most beautiful Laguna Blue, with 1500 miles on it. I'm interested in learning some of the modifications that are being done to the C7. I'm most interested in boosting my car, but have yet to decide which system to choose. Procharger is one of my options, but I'm really interested in learning more about the twin turbo system. I currently have a Turbo Hayabusa putting down 650 RWHP (insane machine), so I'm more familiar with turbo systems.

Welcome BlueLove. A Hayabusa with 650 HP is beyond the comprehension of most of us. You are one terrific rider!

Glad you joined SRF, and know you will having one terrific time with it. We look forward to learning more about its mods as you proceed ahead!
Welcome BlueLove. Laguna Blue is indeed a beautiful color.

I ride a Suzuki, too, but I don't even want to think about controlling a bike with more HP than my Stingray!
BlueLove, welcome aboard, controlling a 650hp bike has to be nerve racking. Look forward to the mods you're considering for the heartbeat of your C7 masterpiece.

Yes the bike is a handful for sure. It satisfies the need for speed no doubt. 0-200 in 8 seconds is something everyone should do once in their life. I built it trying to break the land speed record. Once I finally got the bike ready for an attempt at the record, I laid off of it for awhile due to a few friends of mine that lost their lives or were seriously hurt in motorcycle accidents. Once I saw the 2014 C7, my love interest became the new obsession. I had to have a C7 and now I have one. The bike sits there waiting for me to ride it. Haven't been on it in a year.

So Just moved out of my 2008 M3 hardtop convertible! It only had 20,xxx miles and it was a great car just need more torque and a new edgy car! I previously had a convertible c5 a few years back that I bought used with 30,xxx miles on it. Well I put 100,000 on it with no major problems! I'm not a big American car person, love the german engineering but do love the vettes and they have really stepped it up.
So I saw a used 2015 z06 with a z07 package on it with only 130 miles on it close to where I live in the bay area. With the combo of z06 convertible with z07 package and the orange I wanted the car. Really paid way more then I was looking to pay but this had more stuff then I would have bought normally and with them stopping to make the orange color 2017 I jumped the car. Just had the front end, hood, rocker panels and rear panels Xpel'd.
I have a sportsbike which I commute with at times a GSXR 750 2006, a Honda Odyssey mini for the big dog! lol and now the 2105 beast. Hoping to make a car meet soon.

Welcome to StingrayForums, muccels!
My first flagship Chevy was a 06 C6 Vert. After 7 great years I traded it for a first year C7 Arctic White Vert and drove it off the showroom floor. After 4 first months of agony and heartbreak with Chevy for a Trans issue the couldn't fix it was lemoned and I got my money back. That hurt! I set my plan for a Z06 however was not going to buy the first year. I finally found the perfect match 2 months ago and found a Arctic White Z06 A8 2LZ vert with Carbon Fiber dash ,PDR and a few more goodies that just needed to be mine.
Enjoying the heck out of it and this forum. Looking forward to the virtual pass by wave to all of you fellow members with every post. Land vehicle Vehicle Sports car Automotive design Car

Welcome to the only place to be.. Looks like you have some really cool places to take photos. Love the Artic white with the stars in the background.
Greetings To All

Just purchased my first corvette which is a 2016 3LZ ZO6, Automatic.

I have just over 700 miles on it trying to take it easy for breakin. The Torch Red makes a statement & I'm being careful so I don't attract the wrong kind of attention.

The weather is great here in Orange County, CA.

All I can say is "What a machine...."

16Z06CV, welcome aboard and congrats on your C7 masterpiece Z06 vert. Sorry to read about your trans issues, but it reads like things turned out better than when you started. Enjoy that new found freedom, top down in the wind.
