I drive in Tour mode 95% of the time. I switch to Sport the other 5%. I use Sport mode when I want the tranny to stay in a lower gear longer. Please be careful when using Track mode. The suspension is so stiff that it can cause damage to wheels. I have not experienced this, but some of our club members have.

 

Thank you for your input. It's interesting that you drive in Tour 95% of the time. Another member said he did too. Others have said they drive in Sport most of the time. I wonder what kind of roads people drive on that causes those decisions. What kind of roads do you drive on most of the time?

 

I drive on good, paved roads around town. However, I have taken our Corvette on over night trips with the Corvette Museum as well as on the Tail of the Dragon.

 

For me, it doesn't matter the roads. Even the best roads are bumpy at times. I prefer the rough ride of Sport. Only use Tour if on a long trip with the wife.
