Thinking of it this way, at any given time there are plenty of cars on the road, millions of them produced each year.

So of all cars produced the vette is some 25-30k for 2014, BMW makes some amount of M3/M4/M5/M6, Porsche has their 911s, dodge makes a ~1000 vipers, etc... Add up all the cars that say have a 0-60 under 4.5 divided by total cars produced...

Is it safe to say a C7 corvette could on average beat 98%, 99%, 99.5% in a 0-60 head to head?

My daughter asked me today, we were driving my 650i and I'm looking at cars and I tell her 'not that one, nope, that can't, my cars faster than that, etc.......' She finally goes daddy just tell me what car you see that is faster than yours!

That didn't happen today, I have a BMW 650i that is boosted to 488hp/520TQ and I don't know what 0-60 is, the M6 for 2013 does 3.9, the 650i gran coupe does 4.2, but they never measured the 650i convertible. But I bet it's damn close to 4.0/4.1.. I figure the vette shifted perfectly is faster but the BMW computer controlled 8 speed probably would beat me driving the vette 98/100 times!
