Sonax "wheel cleaner full effect", one of the only ones that counteracts metal filings......which is what brake dust essentally is....then a ploymer...see my doc here:

I used sonax and wasn't impressed. Spray on wait and hose off? Maybe im using it wrong that's why I ask.

Sonax is not a spray on hose off product - use it the right way, and it's killer stuff. Iron-X products work the same.

agitate with a good fine brush

then spray off....

and there are two sonax cleaners - "full effect" and "wheel cleaner plus", having used both, the new PLUS product just works a bit faster...it is 30% stronger - yes, it's still safe to use on any c7 wheel.

follow all this with CarPro HYDRO2 - nothing could be easier....Here's the whole "how to":

I have the full effect not the plus. I also didn't agitate. Good to know for my next wash. Thanks for the clarification!

I use Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner on my black wheels when I am doing a very thorough cleaning. I used Adams lugnut brush and Adam's wash mitt. For the more frequent, superfical cleanings, I use Adam's Waterless Wash and microfiber towels. Works great, but cleaning black Z06 wheels is a pain to me--every time.

I love Adams Deep Wheel cleaner. Plus, Adams Polishes is the official GM Corvette and Camaro detailing products. I have to support both companies. No no. American products for the Corvette is possible.
