Went to 3400 this morning! Im trying to minimize time spent at dealer once car arrives. last car I bought earlier this year was an all day event. I want to have the finanning out of the way but dealer says hed rather have vin number before starting loan process. when is the vin assigned to car?

It's assigned now, but dealer may not know it. I believe it is assigned at about 3000 status.
