Where is the paint color code sticker on the C7 located?

I've looked in all the likely spots: doors, glove box, rear compartment and engine compartment. Can't find it. TNX!

More content: I am looking for touch-up and it seems the vendors have a color of "switchblade silver metallic" and other types of "silver". Of course the color is "blade silver metallic". Gotta make sure I get the right stuff.

I believe It is in the VIN number. There is another thread that has a link to the codes that decipher the VIN numbers

The paint code is at the bottom of the sticker which shows the option codes for your car. It is usually the last line, and starting from the left should read something like this:

BC/CC U xxxx

Where the xxx or xxxx will be your three or four digit number for your upper basecoat.

FYI - coincidentally, I was told during my buyers tour that the actual name for the paint is "Switchblade Silver Metallic", but it was shortened to "Blade Silver Metallic" for fear of the negative connotations implied by the word "switchblade"......

Political Correctness is everywhere - usually a good thing, but can go overboard...IMHO

That is very helpful. If the vendor says it is the correct/same color as the Blade silver metallic then I will consider your input as separate verification that it is true. Thank you.

I just found the sticker. It is in the cargo compartment under the cargo cover, middle rear just to the left of the battery as you face the rear of the car. You have to pry up the cargo cover. I've got the color code. The sticker says BC/CC U636R which translates to code WA636R for Blade Silver Metallic. Tnx for help!
