Not sure about allocation for this dealer but if you don't mind traveling out-of-state I know that Kevin Whitaker in Greenville SC has about 30 on the lot! Every color but the Lime Rock Green when I visited this past weekend. When researching my C7 this dealership was able to provide a look at almost every trim level and option. They also had reasonable pricing and were selling (according to salesman) 1 per day.

Regards,

Mac

Although I live in St. Augustine, I decided to go back to Les Stanford Chevrolet in Dearborn, MI. I bought my previous Corvette Z06 from them and was pleased with how they treated me in terms of price and customer relations. I went back to them to purchase my Z51 coupe primarily because of the favorable buying experience coupled with the fact that they have a large allocation. I dealt with Kevin Will there. He is very knowledgeable about Corvettes and has been very fair in my two purchases from him. I did the NCM delivery with the new car rather than pay to ship it here. My wife and I really enjoyed this experience!

Looking for advise on which dealers have allocation so I can order my new toy?
Where you end up ordering from? Did you get it already?

First question, as it is getting on during the 2014 model year, is if you are looking for a Z-51. If so, strongly suggest you go with only the largest allocation dealers in order to ensure that they can fill your order before the model year is over. Conversely, if you are not looking for a Z 51 then any dealer with allocation can get you a car before the model year is over.

If you want to get a z- 51 you're probable best opportunity is to go with our forum's sponsoring vendor, MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua, NH, for they have an allocation of over 1000 Corvettes this year, and, consequently they are right now committing to delivering your custom specified order for a Z 51s in May -- so would have it for the summer.

Sending you a PM with more info on MacMulkin should you want to go that route.

When i was debating what color to go with I would go to the Chevrolet.com site, build my Corvette and then search inventories of the various zip codes around me (did this every other day). Then I would take short drives to see the different colors in person. This lets you see what area dealers have in stock (maybe with all options you're looking for) and also see who's jacking up the price. From Jacksonville you have down to Daytona, over to Tallahassee, and up through Georgia. Just a thought. Its not fool proof though because my local Chevy dealer never showed up on the searches, then after I ordered from another dealer they turned up with 4 on the lot, ready to deal. You also couldn't go wrong with ordering from the larger dealers like MacMulkin.

If you want to focus on Florida-based dealers you should consider Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City, FL. Huge dealership and very active in Corvette sales. They were #20 in nation as far as 1st qtr 2014 Corvette sales according to a recent listing I saw. I was quite impressed during a recent visit there.

Papa.

I live in South Florida and wanted to order a z51 with very specific options. I didn't find any dealers around here with lots of allocation and ended up ordering from Dan Houser at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Atlanta. They are third on the sales list and have a bunch of allocation as well as a bunch of cars in stock.

I picked it up in Atlanta and made a mini vacation stopping in Savannah, Hilton Head, Atlantic Beach and St Augustine.

It would be a short day trip for you, about 350 miles.
