I was going to post this in the regional section but it's really a global question.

Just wondering who plans on coming down to the Rolex 24 this year and if it would make sense to coordinate some sort of meeting? Also wondering how many are coming and bringing their C7?

Although I don't have my C7 yet it would still be great to put some faces to the names.

Parking is a premium and unless you are part of a club already reserving space inside the track, getting cars together in one place could be a challenge. Perhaps a meet up outside the track for dinner Friday or Saturday would be an good option.

Hey Mark. You posted re: pretty deep discounts at the local dealer. Write the check now, take the sales tax deduction in '13, and you're set for a potential meeting. Voila!

Oh, if they had one equipped the way I want it I'd be all over it but I suspect those posted prices aren't real and I haven't seen too many with the exact config I want. Nothing but a 2LT Z51 with Mag Ride, Exhaust and Nav, Cyber Gray with Gray or Kalahari interior. No clear roof, no CF roof, No CF dash, no chrome wheels. no painted calipers.......

We received our 4 day passes today. We're on the fence whether we're taking the C7 down or not. We always park up by the entrance. We will be there all week. should try to meet some where.

Parking will be a lot different this year with all the construction. The area up front by the grandstands is pretty much all gone, replaced with construction equipment. I'm sure they will have other areas and shuttles. I park inside the track, have for the last 15 years. It's just been the last 2 where they have limited inside parking since their marketing has worked so well they now get well over 50,000 each day and the infield is packed.

We have parking at the Porsche corral, trackside in the infield by the left kink. I'll miss that when I sell the Porsche for the C7......

When were your tickets shipped?

I got an email on the 13th that mine had shipped and they still haven't arrived, and I'm 5 miles away from their processing center! I suspect mine are lost and I'll have to pay them a visit for replacements, that sucks.......
