2 weeks to go! This wait is killing me! Who else is this TPW?

Mine is a 3lt, CGM, Z51, Canadian Order.

Went to 3400 last week, the wait has been killing me. But I do appreciate my dealer emailing me the status updates every week ( probably so I don't keep bugging them).

smackYYZ, this is awesome. If your dealer keeps doing this, please keep posting it. It will give great examples to people of how much more information is available than just looking at the first four characters on the last line. Also, although yours does not show it yet, eventually your latest updates will not be on the last line of the data.

It is awesome to have dealer who cares enough about his customer to e mail him updates!

Dealers always have as much info as everyone else in the entire GM system, if they would only share that info with their customers.

In all my excitement I called the dealer and he said it was in Transit/ bayed .... Which means it is ready to be shipped to Montreal. He still figures another 4 weeks till I see it. Fingers crossed

Hey Dom:

Mine was TPW two weeks before yours and it is now on a train on it's way out to the West Coast.(VAN). My dealer gave me the printout showing the rail car #, Railway,"Norfolk Southern" and the routing through Toledo Ohio to Annicis Island BC. So, I am assuming and so is everyone else that by the third week of the month it should be at destination and ready to go to dealer for PDI etc etc.. Good luck you are not far away. Yours seems to be 4B00 "Bayed for Shipping"

STUNG, did you get all three or four pages of the printout, or just the first page? If you only got the first page, ignore the rest of this post.

However, if you got all of the pages, can you check through them and look at all the timestamps? Can you verify that you, too, have your latest timestamps for lines of 4300 and 4200 newer than the 4B00 or 4D00? Also, can you verify that your newest lines of 4200 or 4300 updates are not the last lines in your printout?

Was told today by GM.ca that my car is enroute. That is all she could tell me. She said check back next Thursday and they might have an actually dealer date.

Just received update email from my Dealer. He sends almost every Friday. Seems most updates only appear in the system weekly on Thursday nights.

Sad update, mine lives as of last Friday but as of this morning it has not been shipped. Will update next week again.

Did it end up going into QC or just sitting waiting for shipment? Must suck, hope that doesn't happen to me. Dealers last car was delivered in 6 days so have my fingers crossed.

Hope both of you get your cars shipped soon, and they travel fast!

Not rarely are folks told that their car has not been shipped, only to get a surprise call from their dealer, saying. "It's here!" Hope that happens to you both!!!

Hi everyone:

I am patiently waiting for my delivery that was shipped 6/3/14. I have Carrier, Railcar # and routing and estimated delivery date. But that is set well after hoped delivery day. This is 6/27/14 more than three weeks after shipping from plant. I have found in studying other deliveries, that once the car is shipped from the plant that the delivery is upto the carier and most of the dealers are powerless to speed up the carrier. A car was just delivered today at my dealer that was so dirty when it arrived one would have thought it had been sitting some where on a rail car or in a storage yard for a week or more prior to delivery to the dealer. When most dealers enquire they get answers like " We will get it to you when we can" or "I don't see it in our inventory" yet the rail car has left and is on it's way back east with a load of Japanese or Korean cars. It is not GM's fault that we experience slow delivery at times but it still pisses me off. I have been waiting 11 days for what should be a 6 day trip from Toledo OH and no word. Probably for another week or more before I see the car. It is not fare. My car is paid for all but a few Gs. and I have been waiting 10 months or more. Ahhhhhh!!! Chin up the best is yet to come. I just wanted to say that this wait is worse than the wait for it to be built. Knowing its alive and I cant drive it is brutal lol.

I totally agree - longest 3 - 4 weeks is from "built" to delivered. Just got a call from the dealership saying the car was built (made me chuckle) and that it had been shipped (very excited). I am trying to hold off calling GM till Friday for a good update.

Yes is excruciating!

Dealer just emailed and said they had 2 vettes in transit, mine which was made last Thursday and one that was made Monday June 9th, but no ETA. ugh, got my heart set on having it by the weekend!

Just dropped my plates off at the dealer so there would be no delays. The Sales Manager called the factory and got an update that the car left Bowling Green this morning! They still don't have the invoice yet, but said as soon as they did they would active the OnStar for me. With out the invoice the OnStar system won't let them activate it. Then will see if I can track it.

That is really exciting to hear. I have my dealer lined up so when the car comes in it gets tinted and 3M film installed right away to no delay me.
