Congrats! So excited for you. I broke down and called also seeing your new status. I am told it has been released to the carrier and to call back in a week. The wait is killing me lol. Where are you located StingrayDom?

I am in Ottawa. My dealer told me it gets shipped to Montreal and only at that point will he know when we get it. I hope that is the stage it is at and not waiting to be shipped to Montreal. She couldnt tell me. I hope that by next weekend I will have it.
It's great to see that they are finally moving!

C7 Stuart, yours will probably go to Toledo from Bowling Green, then be put on a train to head out west. Here in the eat ours travel by truck carrier pretty much. From KY to Windsor, then either ferried to another distribution point like Montreal or pooled to go to your town. So being here in Brampton, they will hold it until they have enough for a full carrier to the area which is pretty much the west side of the GTA. Sales Manager at my dealership phoned someone in I think he said central dispatch to make sure my car got expedited. Not sure if it means anything or he was saying it to make me feel better! :) Also they have mine and another C7's on the same truck so they are excited to deliver both.

Exciting times for all of us.

Will also let everyone know if I get access to the OnStar tracking in the next few days.

So Owais (my salesman) called today and said he had the invoice so he activated the OnStar.

So I got my account created, installed the Android app on my phone, low and behold in about a minute I was connected to the car. 5km on it, 8L in the tank. Next step was to contact OnStar to activate the family link so I could get the cars location. Turns out FamilyLink is only available in the US, crap!

The agent said she was sorry and totally understood why I would want to know where my beautiful C7 was, and she heard that this fall it was possibly going to be offered in Canada, pricing unknown. Big woop I'll have the car by then!

Once again we up here in the great white north get short changed!

But for any of you US buyers you should be able to track your car in real time , for the cost of one months Family Link ( 3.99 ), then cancel it!

All day I was restless because I didnt know if she meant ready to ship from Bowling Green or MTL. This am I asked for a location "Domenic ,Thank you for your loyalty to Chevrolet. You vehicle is in the Montreal yard waiting to be shipped to your dealer ." YES!

So jealous of you Dominic. I was told mine is still in Kentucky and it will take 2-3 weeks to get here, another 3-4 days (maybe even 10) to get to the dealership. I expect I will probably have to wait a few days before I can pick it up so I am planning for 5 weeks yet (ugh).

I am planning for worst case scenario but could be pleasantly surprised.

Again, I am sooo excited for you. Waiting for your call with you (lol).

Thanks Stuart. Its been a long wait. I hope they can speed yours up. It will be a lot of fun to be able to chat about our riding experiences instead of our waiting one

Lucky you!

Mine is still in transport, hoping it will arrive at dealer today or tomorrow. I've been connecting to the car via OnStar to see if it has been started and moved a couple times a day. I know the car was shipped from BG last Tuesday, then was driven over Wed night - Thur AM ( I figure to unload in either Detroit, Toledo or Windsor ), then between Thurs afternoon and Fri AM was started again, so I hope it was reloaded for the final leg then.

So jealous and excited for you. I've been doing the same thing and have to call to see if mine left Kentucky yet. Very soon we can swap driving and owning stories and pics.

Just got off the phone with Gm.ca and the lady said they prefer people call every two weeks. I explained if I did that I might have my car by then (lol) and I am very antsy. She checked and mine left on a train June 21st (Yah!)

I never called. I always used the online chat. The girls have always been awesome. Especially Sheri P who I had multiple times.

Just a lil unscientific poll.... Looks like 14 days to Ottawa and 21 to Vancouver. I am guessing mine will probably be at the dealership July 10th based on other Canadian times from "shipped" to "at the dealership". Argh - the wait is driving me crazy!
