GM has updated the web site to "Build Your Own 2014 Corvette Coupe." I noticed two transparent removable roof panels. Does anyone know the differences between the two?

$5,850 Removable Roof Panel
This transparent Removable Roof Panel provides an open-air feeling even with the roof in place. It is produced with the same tooling as the standard factory panel. A storage bag with logo, sold separately, helps prevent scratches when the top is stowed.

and

$995 Transparent Roof Panel
Includes a 3-latch system for easy removal.
Replaces the standard body-color solid roof panel. Also available in the Dual Roof Package and the Carbon Fiber Dual Roof Package

Was wondering the same thing. Most likely a mistake.

Lol!

I think it may be a mistake because that is the price of buying the transparent panel after the fact from GM accessories. However, I was wondering if they had made some sort of pop-up latch, like a sun roof?
