I've seen several posts say the C7 can fit two sets of golf clubs. I have not seen a photo, but I believe the bags fit with the heads of the clubs facing the back of the seats.

I wonder if the clubs will fit if the removable C7 top is stored in the hatch area?

With the top in place I don't think the clubs will fit unless you can flatten them out somehow. It's the roundness or the height of the bag that kills you.

A "Sunday" bag might fit under the stored top or I have a super light weight Callaway bag with only 4 partitions that might make it.

Well after doing some further research I think we golf enthusiasts are going to be just fine. The edmunds review discusses the trunk space and specifically mentions that golf clubs will fit. Also, I came across several other reviews that discussed the large trunk space. I think something like 22 cubic feet.

I have no idea how I am going to be able to wait until December.

You are going to be in the sun all day keep the top on and get a locker at the club. Then you can take the top off...

Q: Can one put more than one golf bag in the back of the C7 convertible? My C6 convertible only holds 1 bag. I have to carry the clubs up front.

A: The 6th generation Corvette Convertible can hold two golf bags in the trunk if the trunk partition is unsnapped with the top up.

Does that cover covering the front part of the top come with the car?
You know I didn't ask, good question but my guess is yes seeing how it's designed.

Everything I've read says that the C7 coupe will hold two golf bags, but not with the roof off. Now, with that said, remember there may be some lose of space with the battery being in the back and also this new sub-woofer they added. Golfing two times a week, year round, down here in Florida, I hope it does.... If not I will have to take the wife's XTS Caddy to the course!:). That won't be a bad compromise but that would leave her the Vette... OUCH!

Side note: My (just sold) C-5 1998 Indy Pace Car (vert).... I always got two bags in the trunk, parallel with the tail lights, top up! No one could believe that!

Mark, from what I saw at Laguna Seca two bags will be no problem in the C7. The battery is sub floor and the sub-woofer intrudes very little into the space. Of course if you take the XTS you can easily get 4 sets of clubs in the trunk (I do it frequently).

Hey JS..... Thanks for that! 4 bags, huh? Is that with the rear seat down?
My Twin!..... XTS and a C7 on the way.... you've got good taste! We actually don't have the XTS yet, but will by the first part of 2014. Our lease will be up on our CTS coupe and our SRX. Then going to the XTS Platinum. (Hope the C7 comes first.):)

My Platinum XTS fits the four bags easily with the rear seats in their normal position. The trunk is huge at over 18 sf. It has been a fantastic car, just 1 year old now. You are going to have a great combo with the C7 and the XTS.

For the record if anyone is still reading this thread. A full size cart bag with the driver in the bag will easily fit into the convertible trunk. I doubt if you could fit two bags. One easy, two could be a problem. Tell your buddy he has to bring his own car...I ordered the rear fascia protector which is really pretty nice. It folds over the Z51 spoiler and protects the rear of the car when you put the clubs in the trunk. Hope this helps someone.
