Received my wind blocker from King Penn today. First let me tell you I am a government inspector who has audited contractor products for the better part of 34 years. I am always a little skeptical.

The product arrived well protected in a triangular high quality cardboard box. The wind blocker was wrapped on thick foam and bible wrap. The ends of the box were stuffed with plastic to prevent movement. Made in the USA if you noticed. Ok, packing and shipping passed inspection.

My next concern was the quality of the product. My wind blocker is smoked as my C7 is triple black. The acrylic approaches, if not optical clear. No scratches, no bubbles, noticeable warping, twisting or bowing. Hardware well designed, manufactured and assembled. The acrylic appears to be cast not cut and polished. At this point, product well done and I would sign off on it being acceptable. (I would like to know what standard the acrylic is made too.

An accessory package contains alcohol cleaning pads, white cotton gloves, bottle of acrylic cleaner, well written mounting instructions, flannel cleaning cloth, business cards, and personnel note from King Penn. Well done.

Did a dry fit but will install tomorrow and do a follow up picture. Tried to get a picture this evening, but the black on black on black wouldn't show up. Will need daylight to show up.

Now, mounting it and seeing how well it works.

The hardware on the wind restrictor is a satin black with some sparkle in it giving a carbon flash appearance.

The size of it. Well designed and engineered. I'd say the clearance to the folding top motion is within 3/4". One bit bigger and it wouldn't work.

How does it work? With windows down still a nice convertible feel. But, put the windows up and it reduces the wind coming in well over half. I have reason to believe even with me putting it on wrong, removing and reattaching with about 2/3 of the tape it stays in place at triple digits. I like it. Well worth my money to extend my top down time into the cold weather.
