Hot off the press!

After about a month of kit design, development, construction, redesign, and more construction - we're proud to announce that we have what we are pretty sure is the very first turbocharged C7 in the world!

Our kit is a rear mount set up which is much easier to adapt to these vehicles that other set ups. It features a Comp "oiless" turbo, installs in less than 6 hours, in completely American made, and is PACKED with high end custom features. When I tell you we didn't cheap out on anything, I mean it. All top of the line stuff here.

Kits will be available soon for retail purchase.

Here is a teaser from earlier:

We've already driven the vehicle on the street, and let me be the first to say WOW! It will NOT leave you disappointed. Almost instant spool time, and a ton of power. More tuning is needed this week. Dyno and videos to come.

Lashway, as one who cruises the web incessantly for articles to share here on StingRay forums, if there is another twin-turbo set up anywhere, it sure has not publicly surfaced. Thanks for the great work and thanks for keeping us updated. Many of us have been looking for a twin-turbo set up. Care to share any preliminary numbers, or give us an idea when you would be able to do that?

According to their engineers, it has been tested over and over again on race purpose vehicles with great results. They are serviced just like any other turbo on the market. We have no issues running this turbo. The plus sides to an oiless turbo are multiple...no drilling and tapping at the engine for feed and return, ease of installation for the DIY market, and if your turbo were to fail at any point, metal will NEVER get into your engine, scavenge pump, etc. It's an excellent alternative to oil lubricated turbos.

I think it sounds very promising. Rear mounted should help keep temps down alot on the turbo helping it last alot longer too..

That's right. I personally love front mount kits - but for this vehicle and our budget, rear was the way to go! Once we work out the tuning and the fit/finish, this will be available for purchase. Install should take about 6-8 hours, and we will include a hand held programmer complete with various tunes depending on your local fuel and octane ratings.

Best part is it will be affordable, priced to compete with the other forms of FI for this vehicle.

For those who are wondering, the kit is still in testing - primarily for it's durability with regards to daily driving. We have 1000 miles on the kit thus far with ZERO issues. There are a few things we're going to make adjustments to, but for the most part it is solid right out of the gate.

This kit has already been seen by thousands of people at local events, and all are impressed. We also have dealerships and other companies looking to market and install these kits. Exciting to say the least. We will provide more info once the tuning portion of the build begins!
