This may have been addressed before, but I can't get a clear answer.

I want to put Xpel on bumper and front part of hood. Some say do not put on the stripes as Xpel is shiny and stripes are a satin, duller finish. Others say it looks ok. Some say put on, but cut around the stripes; this leaves a lot exposed. Xpel tech says put on, but on the stripes use the Stelth which is not as shiny.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Do not go over th4e satin finish stripes unless you want two tone stripes. We seem the film up to matte or satin finish stripes and if requested will use satin finish film on the stripes.

Have the Carbon Flash stripe, Xpel'd over it, looks fine to me.
