It is well worth the trip. Was one of the happiest days of my life! Savor the anticipation.

I was planning the museum delivery but was concerned the weather could be an issue for my build if any constraints pushed me into late Dec. or Jan. Guess I'll have to drive up there in the spring and do the tour.

Very exciting news SlikNik! The NCM delivery is such a phenomenal experience and then to have the opportunity of driving your new Stingray home is perfect for really learning about it and understanding it. There will be plenty of distractions on the drive home beyond being in your brand spanking new Stingray like people all along the way wanting to take pictures, ask questions etc. (rest stops are never quick just so you know- you will be surrounded with individuals wanting to know more about your beautiful Corvette), it is a great way to do the break-in driving and enjoy you car. Best of luck and safe and fun times!!!

Steve, I actually postponed my order which was placed in late October last year in order to have a May delivery for that reason.

SlikNik, congrats and have a blast wheeling your C7 back to Florida. Post those Museum pictures for all to see and be safe on the drive home.

Specifically, how did you do that? Presumably you were using a dealer with a good number of allocations and they held off a few consensus cycles before assigning one of their allocations to you?
