Hey Team,
If it's true that a well-optioned Z06 will come out to around $90-95k which is roughly 15-20k more than a well-optioned Z51 C7 (~ 75k), then should we consider the Z06 a bargain-priced upgrade?
In my mind the closest competitor to the Stingray is a Porsche Carrera 911S which produces 400HP (MSRP 110-135k or higher) and Porsche sells an "X51 powerkit" for around 11k that adds only 30HP and only improves the 0-100 km/hour sprint by 0.1 seconds.
It truly amazes me how much more value you get with the Stingray platform. I was wondering how many potential Z06 owners are justifying their purchase with this rationale.
