If you order was for a 7-speed manual coupe, then the reason why your order was not accepted was due to the partial constraints on that combination, i.e., only 25% of all orders submitted with both the Z07 package and the CFV option will be accepted. As that is not a total (0%) constraint, it means your dealer was not awarded one of those 1 in 4 combinations. Good luck on that combination being accepted in a later consensus!
However, as the Z07 package without CFV for this consensus is being accepted at a 60% rate, if you were willing to instead select the carbon flash painted carbon-fiber aero option (CFZ), your chances would be improved. Orders can be changed until Tuesday.
(The two Z07 aero packages (CFV and CFZ) are structurally, size and configuration identical. The only difference is that to cover visual blems, uneven weave patterns and/or tiny air bubbles below the top layer of resin in the visible carbon fiber CFV pieces, they are painted in carbon flash black paint -- instead of discarded into the scrap heap.)

Whatever color you wish. Black would be perfect for a black car. Going to leave mine as it comes in carbon flash black for my VY Z, as it will match all the vents, grills, my hood stinger stripe, etc. Only thing that will be black, but not match on my car, is the glossy pure-black spoiler found on every stage 2 & 3 (and possibly also on every stage 1) Z06's.

If not visible carbon fiber or body color, at least paint the thing carbon flash!

Yea, I originally wanted the visible carbon fiber, and then tried to follow the most recent constraint threads and ended up getting a little confused, NO COMMENT PLEASE, of which was available and which wasn't. Quite frankly, the ground effects package isn't a deal breaker for me personally and as Elegant has pointed out in previous postings, the Carbon Flash sure seems allot more practical....(Hate that word) And is repairable, should one get a bit too close to that curb.

We were warned as far back as January at Daytona Race by Harlan Charles, that they were expecting Z06 carbon-ceramic brakes (Z07) and aero components constraints during the 2015 model year due to supplier capabilities -- though no one asked the follow up questions as to whether those constraints would be partial or even complete at times, and/or continuous or intermittent in length.

The latest questimate is the November order cycles which would mean a January delivery at the earliest.

Thanks, my main worry is that my dealer gets his allocation before the a8 is available. If it's spring or early summer and I still get the car i'll be happy.

Are there constraints if ordering CFV without Z07 pkg at this time! Also wanting the carbon fiber interior - looked like this was on constrainment list as well? Thanks!

There is no constraint on CFV for a Stage 2 Z06. So, to answer your question, no, there is no constraint on that.
Yes, the carbon fiber instrument panel has a constraint at this time.

I am being told differently as of today..........
Kerbeck call........ I am being told that the CFV (visible carbon fiber splitters) for the Z06 are not/will not be available.
They ARE available with the Z07 package however? I don't want the Z07 option.
This tells me they are in short supply and people are being pushed to go Z07 needlessly. Correct?
Are others getting this info as well?

As I wait to move my (none ZO7) ZO6 order forward I asked and received the list of restraints for October which are as follows:
Constraint 01847, ZO7 Performance Package
Constraint 01848, ZO7 Perf. Pkg and CFV Carbon Fiber Ground effects Pkg.
Constraint 01849, CFZ-Carbon Fiber Ground Effects Pkg ZO7-Perf.Pkg
Maybe I am being conveniently selective, but it looks like the shortages are related to the ZO7 packaging. These are related to the 10/27/2014-11/02/2014 Target Production Period.
Perhaps some else can shed additional light on this please. Interestingly enough my dealer said he does not yet have the official prices from GM. My car is expected to order on the 26 of this month for what I hope will be a January delivery.
