Motor Trend just dissected the front end of the Z06 mule and has made a lot of "findings." Though the following picture is not new, their analysis is. MotorTrend says that when we look at this mule picture, we should see lots of differences to the car's aero, its appearance and its functionality.

Motortrend said:
"Days after Chevy released its first teaser, spy shots of the new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 have hit the wire, showing dramatic aerodynamic enhancements, extra vents, and a new hood – which just may be hiding a new 650-hp supercharged V-8 underneath, according to a leaked Instagram photo. Despite the fact that it's well camouflaged, this 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 prototype gives away most of its tells up front. The 'Vette's front bumper appears to be heavily reworked, with a larger grille opening flanked by aerodynamic enhancements on either side. Knowing Corvette designer Kirk Bennion's functional design mantra, we're willing to bet those add a decent amount of downforce. The 2015 Corvette Z06's hood also looks significantly revised, with a distinctive power dome. Rumor has it that underneath the bulge is a supercharged version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray's LT1 6.2-liter V-8.... The power dome on the hood would allow for increased clearance of the supercharger, as well as for its associated piping and cooling hardware."
