No longer is GM is calling them winglets, but now splitter "end plates." Some have asked if the picture below accurately depicted the final production version.
Yes, the visual difference (having a carbon flash black end plate butt up against a visible carbon fiber splitter) remains for the final production version if 1)you get a Z07 version, 2) leave the large end plates on the corners, and 3) have ordered specific the visible carbon fiber (CVF) aero package. If all three things are true, one will end up with the same carbon flash black end plate butting up against the CFV visible front splitter. For those who do not like the above end plate visual difference from the splitter, thinking that the CFZ carbon flash black splitter (and side skirts) might be your best factory option.
However, interestingly, if one chooses the visible carbon fiber (CFV) splitter, either has a stage 2 car or a Z07 -- and for the latter chooses to mount the small end plates, made of visible carbon fiber, on your car except while you are in the track, you will be stylin', with your matching, small visible carbon fiber end plate, and your visible carbon fiber splitter.
Note, that a styling "clash" can not occur on a StingRay with the CFZ option as both the end plates and the splitter are always carbon- flash painted on a StingRay (StingRay owners do not have a visible carbon fiber aero option for 2015).
