Hello everyone. I cracked my third rear rim this weekend. I am looking for wheel upgrade recommendations. All brands and price points accepted. The intent is to replace stock rims with a wheel that can withstand a pothole, running OEM run flats or a substitute run flat that's more forgiving than the Pilot Super Sport tires. I appreciate any information you share to help drive my decision. Thank you!

HRE Monoblock Forged, after nine GM fake forged wheels in 17,000 miles this was my solution. Made to order.
I have always liked the chrome wheels on my 2016 Z06 (of course not everyone does). I just experienced my first cracked (rear) wheel this summer and after much thought decided at this point to replace it with an OEM chrome wheel, as I might be selling the car next year. But if it happens again or if I planned to keep it much longer, I would get forged wheels. I have researched alternatives and while there are many good brands offering different shapes, sizes and colors, I want wheels that are as close to my OEM chrome ones as possible. What I have decided on, if and when the time comes, are forged Wheel Designers ZE11 wheels, probably in polished aluminum rather than Chrome (chrome sometimes has been known to fail in spots). I think they are about as close to OEM as I could expect. But hopefully I won't have to do it. After all my originals lasted fine for over nine years. Just my $.02.--Bob

I finally dumped my cracked OEM wheels and replaced them on my 2016 ZO6 with hybrid forged Vossens and Continental radials. No more hard riding, great look, and better quieter ride. Discount Tire did excellent work and all in $4,600.
I just bought a set from E5 Wheels (in Miami) to replace the chromes on my '18 Grand Sport when the passenger rear developed a crack.
I ran the visualizer on the website for your Z06 in the 3 designs they offer in chrome. My experience with the company was flawless.
