Very good thread! I am a watch guy as well and my Panerai S/S Luminor Marina Anthracite Dial B&P PAM00086 seems to fit the Callaway to a tee. The others I own not so much lol..

Funny! I did go out and buy some new matte black Oakleys that I keep in the center console, they go well with the jet black interior!

 

It just worked out that my watch matches, ahem..."my wife's" Z51 lol. I bought the car for her but really I have logged more kilometers than her.

It seems I have assumed ownership of hers while I await my Z.

Thank goodness she is a good sport!

My husband and I are watch geeks too. Here are the ones I've worn with the C7:

The blue Rolex because its my only blue to match my Laguna Blue

The Longines I wear 95% of the time with the C7 because its extremely low profile with a smooth band and I feel like I'm less likely to bang the car with it. Its pretty dinged up, but its SOO comfy.

The black and white panda-like Omega Speedmaster, only because its pretty and its a Speedmaster. My husband and I own that one 'jointly' and he wears it more than me. I just had to have it when I saw it (very comfortable non slip strap), but since I already owned a Speedmaster, I could only get it if we 'shared'. Works for me!

My Olympic Speedmaster with the red, white & blue strap... because I just love it. I wear it when I want to feel more patriotic and because I love the rainbow of colors on the face and I'm really into the Olympics. I call it my 'girlie' Speedmaster. I used to wear it every day, but it was just getting too banged up, so I switched to another Omega seamaster (not shown).

I brought a Longines watch, however it was for my c6 but my c7 doesn't seem to mind.

 

Also a watch guy. My current favorite is my Citizens Eco-Drive Skyhawk. It has a world time zone feature which helps when traveling abroad. While it has a blue face it's not exactly LB, but close enough for now.

I too have a pair of blue Oakleys to match the car. While didn't do it you can get words etched into the lens I had considered putting StingRay but decided not to pay the extra for it.

 

So until I splurge on the omega this Breitling is what I wear from my small collection. Looks good with the jet black interior (and oakleys)!

 

Even though the Oakleys are Ferrari edition, I bought them also to go with my Crystal Red Z51

 

Vintage '63 Rolex. Even though it is over 50 years old, imo the classic look compliments my base AW perfectly (The watch does need a restoration though).

I have a watch with a C5 emblem. I took it off the day I retired and haven't worn it since. The only time I wear a watch is on the golf course. It is a Garmin with GPS which gives me the yardage to the hole.

 

Haven't worn a watch in the last 1,708 days (since I retired).

Sorry, I miscalculated, I left out a year. It's 2,073 days.

 

Same here, 2 years, 7 months and 15 days. Still like watches but no need to wear one.

 

Wow! I wonder what makes us interested in both Corvettes and watches. I too have many, many watches. Have one with a yellow face and black band to compliment my Vette. And, like some others have posted, I have shades to match as well. I have a nice pair of shades that have the side pieces to keep wind from getting behind the lenses from the side. Works especially well with the convertible top down. They are chrome (match my wheels), and I had yellow mirrors made for them!

 

I ended up getting this Mido after seeing it in WatchTime magazine. Now I just need to color the threads in my Vette to match! I have the markers and just need to find the time!

Yes...I have the Breitling Colt II.. awesome watch, a great time keeper, just waiting to move up the Breitling ladder...
