How to check on recalls and service bulletins.

Here are a couple of links that will enable you to check on any applicable recalls and service bulletins directly from NHTSA and GM. For NHTSA you just put in car year, manufacturer and model and then it will bring up all of the Recalls and also Service Bulletins it has records of, and for the GM site you need to put in your VIN and it will check your specific car for recalls:

A reminder to our newer members, thanks to VETTE magazine's latest issue in their Technically Speaking section who listed 2 of the three links I put in post #1 on this thread for finding recalls and technical service bulletins that apply specifically to each of our vehicles. You might want to run your VIN through these prior to going in for an oil change or service.
